Five Scents for the Rainy Season
Petrichor, wet cedar and warm skin: the fragrances that make the most of a grey afternoon.
28 September 2026

Rain has a scent of its own — mineral, green, alive. The right perfume does not compete with it; it works alongside it.
Start with cedar and vetiver, which echo the smell of wet wood. Add a touch of incense for the cool, smoky feeling of a stone church, or a clean musk for the warmth of skin after a shower.
Our short list: Gypsy Water for pine and incense, Hacivat for bright pineapple over moss, Bleu de Chanel for dry cedar, Another 13 for a skin-close shimmer, and Ombre Nomade for the evenings when the rain has not stopped.
“The best perfume is the one you stop noticing — because it has become part of you.”
